The Official Tour of St. Patrick’s Cathedral was rebuilt during the pandemic to focus on the visitor experience. We recognize our guests want to avoid lengthy lines and time consuming check-ins. 

When Tour Pass is purchased you will receive a digital key-code for each tour via email.

Please follow the directions in the email and you will be ready to tour as soon as you arrive. 

We have a dedicated staff at our main tour desk ready to help you explore St. Patrick’s Cathedral. The tour desk is located past security as you enter from 5th Avenue.

Our team can supply iPads, headphones, connect you to our WiFi, download the tourpatron app and manage unlock codes. 

Our goal is to help our guests achieve a deep and meaningful understanding of St. Patrick’s.

*All tours of St. Patrick’s Cathedral are self-guided through headphones to be respectful of the faithful in prayer. Headphones required.

Tour Pass includes the use of our Apple Ipads and free disposable 3.5mm headphones. The tablets are available on a first come, *limited availability basis.
We encourage our guests to tour with their own devices and headphones.

The Official Tour and Christmas Concert remain on your device and serve as a digital souvenir of your experience.

The self guided tour can be explored on iPads provided at our tour desk with headphones or on your own device. 

Please go to The App Store or Google Play Store to download The TourPatron app. If touring with your own device, this step is required in order to take the tour.
We offer our Official Tour in English, Spanish, Italian, French and Portuguese. We also take great pride in our kids tour (currently only available in English).

TourPatron requires an key code. The unlock key-codes are printed on the email you were sent when ordering your tour or on the back of The physical Tour Pass Laminates. Please erase the pre-loaded code (if one is present in-app) and type in your unique code from email or laminate. TourPatron will then ask you to select your language and tour type.

The tour stays resident on your device. Please enjoy the tour as many times as you like. It works in the cathedral and at home too.
